Our partners answer a questionnaire about the languages they speak and learn in their school.

El alumnado alemán responde el cuestionario publicado en este blog. Las preguntas fueron redactadas por el alumnado de Aniturri BHI para conocer las lenguas que rodean a nuestros compañeros de intercambio.

¿Qué idiomas hablas? Languages they speak: German, English, Spanish and French. Others: Japanese and Turkish

¿Qué idiomas hablan tus padres? Which language do your parents speak?

All their parents speak German. English and French are the foreing language they speak. Croatian, Italian, Spanish and Hebrew is spoken in four different families.

¿Qué edad es la mejor para aprender un idioma extranjero?

14 students think that 0-6 is the best age to learn a foreign language. A student thinks that 6-12 is the best age and 3 students said 12-18 is the best age. 13 students clicked two or three different answers: 0-6 and 6-12 are the most common answers.

¿Crees que eres bueno para aprender idiomas?  

Students had to choose from the range 1-5 to say if they thought they were good at learning languages. 14 students clicked range 3 or 4, whereas only 4 clicked range 2.

¿Qué idiomas studias en el instituto?

18 students study English and Spanish. 14 students study also French.

¿Cuántas horas semanales dedicas a los idiomas?

Hour of study to learn Spanish:

2 students said they spend 1-2 hours. 6 students said they study 3-4 hours each week. 8 students answered they study Spanish for 5-6 hours each week.

Hours of study to learn English:

3 students spend 1-2 hours. 10 students spend 3-4 hours. 2 students 5-6 hours.

¿Te gustaría aprender otra lengua extranjera?

Would you like to learn another foreign language?  Four students said they would like to speak French. Others said they would like to learn Italian, Greek, Latin, Japanese, Polish or Swedish.

¿ESTÁS DE ACUERDO CON ESTA FRASE? “Todo el mundo en la Unión Europea debería hablar al menos una lengua extranjera”
17 students said they agree on the statement which says that everybody in the EU should speak at least one foreign language.
 
 
¿ESTÁS DE ACUERDO CON ESTA FRASE? “En la Unión Europea deberíamos comunicarnos en la misma lengua”
 
10 students said we shouldn’t communicate in the same language, whereas 8 students agree on the statement that says everybody in the EU should communicate in the same foreign language.
 
 
 
¿ESTÁS DE ACUERDO CON ESTA FRASE? “Todo el mundo en la Unión Europea debería hablar al menos una lengua extranjera”
 
8 students disagreed on the statement which says that everybody in the EU should speak at least two foreign languages, whereas 7 agreed with the statement. 3 students said they didn’t know the answer.
 
 
 
¿ESTÁS DE ACUERDO CON ESTA FRASE? “En nuestro país tenemos un buen nivel en lenguas extranjeras”
 
Is our foreign language level a good one? 9 students said the foreign language level in Germany is good, whereas 6 said it wasn’t. 3 students didn’t give their opinion.
